Ann, heretofore referred to as Dr. Davies, graduated today. The ceremony was terribly boring. Jess cried. Afterwards, there was bbq-ing, ferris-wheel-ing, and being-mooned-from-the-other-gondola-ing.
Hopefully there is a movie sometime in my future.
Tomorrow there will be whirlyball¹, and there will be carnage wreaked by these hands now so gently striding my keyboard. Tremble, ye who would impede my merriment.
¹Whirlyball is, as near as I can tell, jai alai played from bumper cars. I'm the only member of my family yet to experience the sport, a fact that renders me outide, pariahed, of many a conversation. No longer. |
